This web site is dedicated to displaying and documenting my two main hobbies: Astrophotography and Amateur Radio. My location is on the east coast of Florida approximately 30 miles south of the Kennedy Space Center. Although my home site suffers from moderate light pollution, I am able to travel to a dark site for most new Moon weekends during the late Fall, Winter, and early Spring. Most of my astronomical imaging is now done at a remote site at the Chiefland Astronomy Village in northwest Florida with some, mainly narrow-band imaging, done at my home in Indialantic. Under the "Lastest Images" section of this web page are presented links to my complete set of deep space and solar system object images as well as some of my very latest astrophotography images. Clicking on the link below the image will direct you to a web page offering more detail and links to higher resolution images. This page also presents two tables related to my recent Amateur Radio activities. The first table presents details of the latest Amateur Radio contests in which I have participated; the second table shows some of my latest DXCC Award confirmations received via ARRL's electronic QSL service. Much more information on both Astrophotography and Amateur Radio is available by navigating through the various web pages as well as by visiting the Astroham.com blog which can be reached by clicking the navigation button at the top of the page. Any questions or comments regarding the content of this website can be directed to my email address shown below:

info at astroham dot comSince this site contains both monochrome and color images, it is important that the display is properly adjusted for viewing. Take a look at the following grayscale:

If your monitor is properly calibrated, you should be able to distiguish the 24 shades of gray shown in this image. The white swath on the left should merge into the white of the background and the black swath on the right should merge into the black bar at the bottom of the swaths. If you cannot distinguish the shades of gray, your monitor needs adjustments in brightness and contrast (at a minimum) to properly display images presented here.

Additionally, due to the layout of this site, all pages are best viewed at a 24-bitcolor depth. Some images have been reduced to fit on the main webpages.
